Beyond your imaginations

Books are the gateway of self-development for a poor man. I just realised that buying a book is more cheap and worth than buying yourself a nice outfit to impress somebody who doesn’t care about you or what cloths you wear. There is more to reading than one thinks, it is like challenging oneself to conquer ones own limits.

But before you read let me tell you, don’t read or buy/collect books to impress anyone or send the wrong message that you belong in the greater human race with a good purpose in life. Don’t do it just to segregate yourself from the absurd society that many thrive in. After reading few book which ranges from incidents in WWI, fiction and others it occurred to me that books are the epitome for a man with no fortune to live on. Because he gets the opportunity to live like a king, sometimes entering through an era of wilderness, terror and traveling to new places and meeting new people.

The same thing can be said for the rich man. The rich man can live multiple lives and experience emotions which sometimes the rich can’t reach to like the kind of joy which a poor man’s family has on the eve of christmas when he gets home a turkey. Reading is exhilarating if carried out in the right way: When somebody suggest you certain books, there’s likely chances that what he/she suggested has to do with what they like than what they think you will like. Therefore don’t simply buy and read books that certain people suggest you to.

Some people say that they want to read and think that reading is fun but they can’t bring themselves to even finish a book. That is a lie! Don’t believe them. Alice went into the hole and found out how strange things were, she didn’t narrate her incidents of entering into a world of  be-wilderness without or before entering the hole. Everything starts happening after she enters the hole.

Thanks to reading, I can hear the weird noises my fingers make pressing against  the keyboards and I am aware of the face that I make when I try to write something sensible. Reading has touched my soul and given me a reason to look forward for something called tomorrow, which if I am destined to see with my health at good shape. Before I sleep i take a moment to look at my books which occupy some space in my tiny room and i  look at them and remind my sub-conscious,’Yes, they will never leave me alone. If tomorrow the world turns against me I will still have them.’ In a parallel universe you could say and mean that at the same time for your lover or spouse. Unfortunately here, you can only say that to your loved ones.

Reading will teach you that you are the most important thing that can happen to you in this lifetime and after death. Because it is you who will be highly effected at the end of the story either by the plot, the emotions that you experienced, the characters that you met or the events that you saw, you may come and live for a long time to narrate them to people who take utmost interest in listening to them but nobody shall be touched  and uplifted like, ‘You,’ have been through the entire journey.

It will tell you that, if you choose to go after people and things that won’t make you happy just like books that you choose to read without having knowledge about or because somebody suggested you, then all you are welcoming is misery with open arms. Reading also teaches you that although physically no two being are alike ,at the end of the day your two favourite characters are always striving for something better and in search for happiness.
